While we may not be at a Nintendo Direct, I'm happy to announce that the release date for the physical copies is November 25th!□ We can't wait to give him a little squeeze If you had told me 1 year ago that my Paper RPG would have a physical release and plush, I wouldn't have believed you□ Oh, and there's also going to be a plushie of the game's main character, available separately. The Switch physical release will cost £29.99 / €34.99 / $34.99 - worth the price of admission just to have a cute little ghost on your gaming shelf, we think. Even in a world where ghosts embody regret, we think this is more than possible. I feel like without the glitches and with a slightly beefed up story this could have really been something.Like its inspiration, and other brilliant paper-thin RPGs like Bug Fables: The Everlasting Sapling, The Outbound Ghost aims to charm with witty writing, colourful characters, and its interesting twist on the timing-based combat. Very cool theme, shame the game didn't get the treatment it deserved. The combat was awesome, enjoyed experimenting with different figment and aspects once things got tough towards the end.īug Fable is still my favorite game of this style post Paper Mario TYD, but this one helped scratch that itch. I still enjoyed the experience though I probably wouldn't recommend it to most people. (Right at the very end, thank God I had just accidently saved a backup to File 2 minutes before) Lots of crashes, and lost a whole save file to a glitch where the world loaded empty. Game was a glitchy mess on Switch, which I don't blame the creator for, I was warned. Why did Frank know Lee and Linda? Why did he react so strangely when he realized the character was named Lee? Who was the killer? I know its the speaker at the beginning of the game, but whose voice is it? Lee's? Adrian's? Did the cult we were introduced to matter at all? Who was Levi, and what was his burden/motives? Just finished the game this morning, hoping someone can help clear the story up for me, as I got completely lost. This discussion will obviously contain story spoilers, please proceed at your own risk
